Course Description

Our current economic system excludes low-income and historically marginalized people from sharing and prospering in economic, social, and political opportunities. While business has a critical role to play in building a new, more inclusive economy that alleviates poverty and reduces inequality, achieving this vision requires business leaders who can drive inclusion across all areas of their company.

Together with EY, Acumen has developed the inclusive business framework — a collection of seven principles, practices, and skills for business leaders who want to increase inclusion and achieve both social impact and profit. Focusing on three components of the framework — purpose, strategy, and value indicators — this course teaches how to identify opportunities to drive inclusive change in and through your business.

You’ll learn from successful business leaders who have put this framework into practice and take actionable steps to begin redefining the operative elements of your business to prioritize inclusion and shared prosperity.

*Note: To learn the four additional components of the Inclusive Business framework, sign up for our Inclusive Business: Reimagine Key Operations course.

This course consists of 1.5 hours of videos/readings and 2 hours of reflections/application.*
